Prototype Ascension July 19th 2012

https://hotfile.com/dl/163834056/d57013a/TKO_Prototype_Ascension_2012.zip.html

The link posted above is the free download of my latest project"Prototype Ascension" (aka Prototype 7)

Once again, another batch of instrumentals filled with my brand of hip hop, what you've come to expect and if you are new to my music then I hope you dig what I've compiled this time around. The whole Prototype series is about growth. I've been making music for years for fun and nothing has changed. I provide free downloads to share my contribution to music because its not a hollywood production. Don't expect crystal clear studio quality music. I'm making good on the equipment and resources needed to at least provide a window into my artist mind. This 14 song ride jumps around a little and I believe it makes for a unique experience that range from real life experiences to insane stories to just pure unadulterated hip hop. Once again, let me take you through the process. (all songs can be sampled at youtube.com/tikayoh3000)

1. Ascension Day
The beat had an intro feel that sets the tone for the rest of the project. Just one of those I'm better than you type joints that most artists will do. Nobody should think they are number 2.

2. Take Off
The beat and hook are provided by Shaghie. The song screems commercial which I tend to be agains but the beat is heavy and the song as a whole is the perfect official jump off. More of that big chest talk but a perfect blend of anger and confidence.

3. Death of Swag
If you've heard my song "Fuck Swag" this is the sequel and if not go to my youtube page and check it out. I'm over this swag movement and I explain it in detail for 7 minutes, no hook (until the very end.) I alos go in on a few local rappers and a few that I have come in contact with but it mainly stays of focus. Likely the heaviest amount of shit talking I've ever done and I'm happy with the result. Plus the beat is 100% hip hop and it was a gift from its producer sent directly to me.

4. Justin Bieber
Fuck you if you got a problem with the title. It was a cheap way to maybe get more views but the song itself has that single feel to it but the lyrics stay raw like I always keep them. The reference to Biber is he made it big off youtube and although I don't plan on it, it seemed to fit the songs message. It also is one of the only songs with no official curse words. Plus, my daughter knows the hook and loves it.

5. Made in the 402
Very different from the majority of my material. The output of the hook and slowness of the beat are just part of why the song goes along with the whole intention of the Prototype series. Experimentation and pushing myself as an artist to touch all avenues of music, just for self satisfaction. the song itself is a tribute to my stomping grounds and is one of my few party songs. Omaha's new anthem, regardless of what "they" say.

6. Superhero
No secret, I'm a wrestling fan and as well as a superhero fan so I often tie in metaphors that are relevant to each. Another song that has a commercial feel, almost a Dr. Dre-ish beat with a west coast feel to it. Just a way for me to tie in superhero qualities with sexual references but its all in good humor and the instrumental itself is pretty exciting.

7. Love & Facebook
This song is loosely based on a true story. To be able to take elements from a real life situation and tell a story that rhymes is a true gift and many artists have this ability. It's what makes a great artist. You can guess the story direction and it takes a dramatic turn as a means to keep the listener invested. An achievement.

8. I Think They Like Me
This joint has a nasty instrumental that is loud and just in your fuckin face and I just jumped on it and wrote one of my 30 minute specials that ended up working well with the semi-catchy hook. Slightly southern but all TKO, I wouldn't call it filler but it fits in well with the different flavors of music.

9. My Biggest Fan
This one is the opposite of track 7, but not in a bad way. To develop a story is also an interesting way to take charge of a real listeners attention. I'm a listener. I first have to like the beat but I'm listening to lyrics. Been that way since 12. This is a story, but I put myself in the story. Fictional tale about an insane groupie experience intended to be humorous but thought provoking. Plus I try my best to sing the hook.

10. Omaha's Reckoning
Back to my love of comic book heros, this song was inspired by the film The Dark Knight Rises. The darkness of the beat forced me to use a few famous lines from the movie on the hook and the lyrics make their own movements from different subjects but it all fits nicely. I would call this filler as most would, many albums include filler but its the necessary appendages of musical range.

11. Paper Bitch
The intro to the song explains the title, a scene from the film The Other Guys. I basically turned a funny line into a song, but changed the meaning. It's one of those I'm all about my money hooks but the lyrics do their thing as I typically freewrite as opposed to taking months and months to craft some epic masterpiece. My audience is in the hundreds, not millions and this is not my day job. Fun song.

12. How'd You Get That Way
This one is a fictional tale putting myself in the shoes of a friend who has an untrustworthy friend. I sing the hook and do my best to stay focused due to the song having a topic rather than just being witty lines or skillful rhyme patterns.

13. You Don't Need Him
I've havent been much of a "for the ladies" songwriter but this one is just that. Men, myself included, tend to treat women negatively, sometimes unintentional. This song is fictional and tells the story of a girl who has put up with a bad guy, but its not one of those horrible stories. It's more of a realistic story based on several events personally and stories I've heard from women over the years.

14. Nothing I Can Say
This is the outro of the album and it puts a stamp on my place in music and just the state of hip hop ingeneral. The sample may not be for everyone as it can affect my vocals but I thought it was the perfect sidekick to my overall message.

That's pretty much it. It's always a pleasure to make some music (easily0 post it on youtube and see the views make moves and people clicking "like" or making comments. I get people telling me a song is the best shit ever. It's not about money unless it becomes about money. It's still fun and I don;t want to remove that element. If you are one of the 2,000 plus who have downloaded my projects in the past, THANK YOU and I hope you enjoyed those as well as this project. It's not for a label its for the listeners. I'll be back in 3 months with a new project that I promise will be even better. Peace

TKO-All Will Suffer 2012 *Free Mixtape Download*

https://hotfile.com/dl/155435132/6931a16/TKO-All_Will_Suffer.zip.html

For those who have been following my music, I'm officially done with my latest mixtape creation, All Will Suffer. It featuring my 402 Boys representiative Frank Grimes and D Damage as well as production by Matt Houston, Dreasbeats and Bravestar Productions. Each song has a youtube spot that will be included. For those who recognize the music for what it is, I appreciate the support and 450 downloads of my last project "Prototype 101" may not be much to some but its dope to me. Thank you

1. All Will Suffer (Intro)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=HryoyzUDTw
Just a dark intro into what the overall theme of the mixtape represents. The joint is short and all over the place but over the underground backdrop, it serves its purpose.
2. So Gone
www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3dyf-QZbyI
From the beat, the lyrics and harmonizing (hook and 3rd verse) I feel satisfied in calling this one of my best songs to date. I was very satisfied with the outcome when you factor in the low budget material I use. The song just separates me from my peers in whatever way you want to call it.
3. Still the Same
www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WUUJ3_btV0
When I first heard the sample over the movie "Drive" I knew this would make a hot hip hop beat. I have heard other mainstream artists versions but this is my take. Great instrumental with my signature style all over it.
4. Sorry featuring D Damage
www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ar8546u398
Sorry but we here. 402 Boys representative D Damage tearing it down on the slightly southern sounding joint. Just more of that hardcore Omaha music we do. I attempt to sing the hook, again but I think I get a pass.
5. Alive
www.youtube.com/watch?v=3W2ZQbxSlto
I definitely felt alive over this beautiful backdrop. This joint just represents hip hop being alive. More singing but the theme and music called for it. Another one of my major achievements as I continue to grow.
6. You Aint As Him As Me featuring Frank Grimes
www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-JcISEIbC0
To define this title, it basically means nobody can do it like us. Which is obvious cause everyone does it differently but its just a new saying we created to separate ourselves creatively. Frank Grimes is along for the ride as we ride the classic spaghetti western backdrop with more shit talkin.
7. Sosa's Revenge
www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpRlyjCv2lQ
My all time favorite movie (not just cause I rap) is and will likely always be Scarface. This song has a sample from the movie when Tony is with Sosa. As soon as I heard it I wrote it in 30 minutes and recorded it. This is my tribute to Scarface as I step in Tonys shoes and tell the story of the movie. My crowning achievement as an artist, IMO.
8. Thank God
www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vLhnb8-mao
This song is 100% balls. Just a buncha cocky bars and punchline that display the talent like a mixtape is supposed to do. Not a religious song and no disrespect to any religious folks who are offended if I call myself a rap god. Every man has his right. Sick beat.
9.  Liars featuring Frank Grimes
www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDzi-AtqtLE
The hook was free-styled by Frank Grimes as a joke but actually turned out to be an abstract honest message.  The great instrumental and pace enabled us to switch styles and still stay on topic about a simple theme, lairs. Easy shit and again another one our best collaborations.
10. Stress Free
www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2_csTCki2o
This song just feels like top down, ride music. More chest out/balls music over an insane mixture of instruments. Great pace, on point lyricism. Seriously, its not for everyone but its very much hip hop and if you dont like it, please, tell me how?
11. My Time Has Come
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3Kcjy2-yI8&feature=relmfu
For those who follow the music, I did the "We See You (John Cena Diss)" www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSWO8tva6Iw a year ago, so yes I follow WWE. This would be considered my semi tribute as I borrowed the theme of his theme song for the hook. But after that, its nothing more than that old TKO shit over another classic hip hop instrumental. Punchlines and rated R material.
12. We On It (Bonus D Damage joint featuring TKO)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHvMSfJnhoE
Here I take it easy. All I did was do the simple hook and let D Damage take the wheel. Its his joint as a preview for upcoming projects I plan on doing. More of that hardcore 402 bullshit we do.

There you have it. All 12 joints on youtube, the download link is live. This is just fun so I provide it for free, if I wanted to go farther I could give it a shot and you never know who might hear it but Im content in making new music. I push myself every chance I get and I hope this one is as well accepted as the previous projects I've put up in the past year. Its only growing. Shout of to D Damage, Frank Grimes, Jcity and anyone who supports that Omaha underground bullshit.

TKO presents Prototype 101

Its finally done.

 http://hotfile.com/dl/148963555/9f30f95/TKO_Prototype_101.zip.html

After months of writing, cycling through beats, recording and trying to decide whats the best fit, Prototype 101 is done. I'm satisfied with my delivery and content more than ever. I think my wordplay in general has improved and I seriously think I'm as good as I say I am. After over 700 songs I can show a little confidence (not swag.) 16 songs deep, Prototype 101 is less story driven and there arent a lot of topics, just a mixtape joint free of too much emotion. I think saying whatever I want is fun and funny. Don't take any violence or sexually ridiculous claims too seriously, I'm just doing my best to be a insane lyrically as possible but at the same time you get a lot of whats on my mind. I free-write. Freestyling on paper. I know a lot of artists who write a little here and there, rewrite, edit ect. I write the entire song in one sitting not trying to hard to make a classic. Its all very at that moment. I hope you enjoy the low budget free product and provide some feedback.

track description
1. Old Boy
I wanted to start out with some serious talk for any new listener. Providing some background to my artist journey, I speed it up but allow the listener to understand the point. I'm 31 as of this writing. Still young but I'm a old hiphop fan. I prefer a grittier sound than even I use. I think I make my point.
2. Hustlemania
This song is the exact opposite but for good reason. Range. Another song where I experiment with the ability to rap a little faster. This song is more commercial sounding to cater to different types of fans. I can also do what they do, but in a lot of ways I can do it better, no?
3. What Can I Do
Here the hook is supplied via sample and I just fill in the blanks. I often talk about the music industry and what I should have done and what I can't or don't want to do. This song is all about what I could do to become successful, nut its not in my plans realistically.
4. Space Food
This is probably my favorite song of mine. I switch my style from slow to fast several times and I'm lyrically all over the place, really out there. The beat is a masterpiece of sounds and it was a late edition. I had the beat, never did anything with and one day I said wait...wrote it in 30 minutes and recorded it right away.
5. Beautiful
Ok. Don't judge me. Sometimes I hear a melody and I instantly know what I want to say. This isn't my typical type of music but I enjoyed trying something new. I've sang before but I think this is my best attempt. I kept it short because I didn't want to lose my core fanbase, and shit. I like what I accomplished. I respect women
6. Keep It Movin
I love the music here. I instantly wrote the verses and the hook just felt right. I have unlimited things to say about certain hiphop. There's nothing wrong with hiphop right now but there are some suspect artists out there and I stand by my comments.
7. Dark Days
Now this is more my speed. Very hardcore and slightly comical. I love saying outlandish shit over a great backdrop. Theres not much of a point. Just some break your neck hiphop.
8. I Gets Biz
This song sounds typical to a lot of southern hiphop artists. The high hats, snares, kick drum pattern. Only difference is that I'M on it and I think I created something very dope. I had fun with the punchlines and its very ridiculous.
9. I Know What You Said About Me
This song is based on a former friend. He didn't say too much about me behind my back but the idea made for a hot song. Again, i think I did well with the pace and kept up better than I thought I could. I'm still growing artistically and blending words together like this is a challenge and I passed.
10. Nice Guy
Another southern street sounding song where I get away with saying some of the most offensive things I could in a 30 minute window. I wrote this fast and I'm sure its not for everyone. If you don't mind bad words, explicit content and tough talk then you might like this. Not to be taken seriously, have fun with it
11. You Can Get It
I admit to filler. Some songs that end up as filler to me are gold to others. This was just some quick shit talking over another creepy back drop. Nothing serious, most mixtapes have filler and its trow away but I stand by this short little joint.
12. Bullshit
Another song aimed at a past friend who ran his mouth but only loosely. It's more shit talk, getting my point across. This is the type of beat and pace I can write a million songs to. Delivered it in one take and I like the overall end result.
13. Caesar
I've always admired the idea of Caesar. A king. I go by TKO (True King of Omaha) I stand by it. Nobody does it exactly how I do it and I'm a king in my own space. This song doesn't represent it. Another beat I liked and I free wrote some shit to it. Remember, this entire mix tape is a finished rough draft.
14. I Wish
This song is a run on sentence about life, music, the future, death, ect. I love the Gladiator score sample and it is one of my personal favorites. The delivery is some of my best and it was easy to write because it came naturally.
15. GMF (Get Money Fast)
I write a lot of joints like this. I don't consider this filler. An achievement in wordplay. Very comfortable tempo and backdrop. Real New York sound. I try hard to be funny. I'm no comedian but I took some lines from Michael Pena and the movie 30 Minutes or Less in verse 3. Just some ridiculous lines, fun joint.
16. Royal Rumble
This was easy to do. Taking a page out of the WWE, I did my own Royal Rumble and took 29 rappers and threw them in, in some way. Some got more time than others. I respect the majority so i didn't get too deep into it. Just a fun joint for my blog friends at theinfamousjcity.com

There you have it. Hope you enjoy, download and tell a friend. I have not interest in the music industry. i enjoy the response from home. Peace

TKO presents INCOGNITO

http://hotfile.com/dl/139433880/bd52a1f/TKO_presents_Incognito_2011.zip.html

Above is the link to the album I titled Incognito. This 15 song project was written in about a month after I was inspired to experiment with music and put it online. For years I wrote music that only maybe 30 people listened to tops. So Incognito was the first project where I thought of all types of ideas for all types of listeners. I'd call it my commercial album. After a few months, I can confirm that all my ideas were not a success in my eyes. It still followed my formula but there were a few songs that were filler and too pop-ish for me to listen to again. The beauty behind this though is, I've heard great things. A song one person doesn't like or I wasn't satisfied with won some other listener over and thats why I love doing this. There are about 5 songs that I would consider some of my finest work but the major success of this project was the week after it was complete. I was given inspiration to make a bonus song called "We See You." This song is based on a pro wrestling character who is popular for not being very good or popular. (I personally have no problem with him) John Cena is a WWE wrestler who has a lot of "haters" and I get why. I took all the comments from the internet wrestling community and created this little thing in about 30 minutes. This includes writing and recording, the beat was complete. Now 8,000 views (as of 1-1-2012) may not be that great but for me, this song has been the most important song I have ever done. It's the final song on the album and if you haven't heard it check it out.

All in all, I think the overall project is good and I will just grow from it. I'm the truest hiphop fan there is so anyone who feels a certain way about how I came on a song, I'm right there with you. This was very experimental. I hope you download, for free as usual, and enjoy the album you never saw coming from me, Incognito.

I will be uploading my previous projects on a regular basis. My final EP from 2011 called, Nebraska (inspired by my birthplace and residence), the first 4 episodes of my Prototype series, Satisfaction is the Death of Desire (another experimental project) and 1st quarter 2012, my newest creation...Prototype 101. Get It

Lastly, I'd like to give a shout out to the realest guy I barely know, Jcity. He has a blog and reviewed my last project Prototype 5. He treated it like a real album which is something I've always wanted to read. Even if it was bad I would been straight with it but this guy gave it a good, almost great score. I may never meet this guy but he's a huge part of why I'm not done doing this shit. His blog is theinfamousjcity.wordpress.com. Go there now if you are a hiphop fan, wrestling fan...just read his blogs or his writers, trust me, it's legit. Peace

TKO - Prototype V

After a few months of laying low, I've completed what I think is my best work to date. I seem to get more better with every Prototype album. Finally, 100% done with a download link:

http://hotfile.com/dl/126811398/aa8795f/TKO_-_Prototype_V_2011.zip.html

It's a zip file so just right click it and extract the files. 16 songs total. If there's any problems, let me know but its hotfile.com so it should be legit. Allow me to briefly describe the album song by song.

1.To Live in the Moment
Not much to explain. Like most of the album its just 16 bars and a hook (harmonized this time) Has that eerie intro feel i like and I slowed my style down a bit. I do a lot of punchlines in this cd, more than usual.
2.Hip Hop Lives
Great guitar riff backdrop. Real gritty hip hop sound. Loved the beat and instantly wrote something hot
3.Price of Fame
A song that I think defines me as an artist. I don't really have a go to song. With over 700 tracks in the stash this one makes me the most proud. Its about a young pop star who gets a letter from a fan. It plays out over a smooth instrumental. I've very satisfied with this joint. I hope I get some good feedback
4.Fuck Swag
Self explanatory. Swag is a popular word that is completely overdone. I basically jab at the idea
5.Jack & Coke featuring Frank Grimes
Another smooth joint with my brother Frank Grimes in the backseat. Not much to explain, good music.
6.Evil Genius part III
Southern style beat and I play around a lot on this track. In '05 I had a joint called Evil Genius, in '08 a track called Still Evil. So here we are. TKO,. Prototype, Evil Genius...its like an on going alias. Whatever
7.Crying featuring DATman
I had a friend lose his daughter and my guy DATman thought it would be right to make a tribute joint to his family. I basically touch on a few subjects about crying, but its more of me crying through music since I don't do that. DATman 100% went in on the main subject. Sped up sample on the hook so it might not be for everyone
8.When I Close My Eyes
Basically a song about how I don't ever wana do shit. Almost a pop sounding joint but its refreshingly smooth.
9.Memoirs of a MC
I didn't count the bars, I just went in on this beat. No hook. Almost a mini life story, with my hip hop experiences sprinkled in. Kinda classical
10.We Did It
This joint stems from a running gag between me and my boys. Anytime something happens that we are fans of...WE DID IT. If you shine we all shine, if something we support shines, we all shine. Get it? Another rock sample, loud and aggressive.
11.Blood Money featuring D Damage
ANOTHER rock sample, didn't realize this until now. This song is about the great lengths people go through to get money whether legal or not. D Damage give his prospective on what he would do while I describe what most people would do.
12.Bump
This song is almost filler, maybe it is. I like the the tempo cause its much faster than the rest of the album. Sounds like a club song but of course I put some foul shit on it instead and made it a fight song
13.Still a King

I love this beat, real classical 70's sounding sample.More shit talking, hardcore music
14.Nature of the Beast
This isn't the typical beat you hear from an artist. I liked the pace and the strings mid verse. Just felt different. Didn't need a hook, just crazy talk but I think it came out well.
15.Boss featuring DATman

This one has a sample from an old blaxploitation film called Boss Niggas. Its a slow track that requires some fast spittin. I think we did our thing on it. The entire album sound quality isn't studio. I do this for fun and cheap so dont expect Def Jam sounds or even pro tools. This is audacity and a $50 mic.
16.Infamous Crew
The final song is dedicated to my people over at theinfamousjcity.wordpress.com. This is a wrestling blog site with some cats, mainly Jcity, who endorsed me pretty hard and I owe it to them and show my allegiance. Seriously, the guy reviewed me as an artist. More hardcore music with a few tie ins to the actual crew.

There you have it. If you actually read that shit, I got love for you. I spend a lot of time doing this shit for personal pride and feedback/recognition. I also want to provide music enjoyment to hip hop fans who love the underground and love hip hop. Bars and beats. I'm here to entertain. Thanks to all my "fans" (lol) the Infamous Crew (Jcity and all the blog members), my Us Unit comrad Frank Grimes and my Covenant Group affiliates DATman and D Damage. Prototype V is here and I'm glad it's over with

Prototype V...I think I'm Back!

I've been laying low for a few months after flooding the Internet with myself. I quit Twitter about 2 months ago for reasons that ain't none of your business. I have 2 kids and I'm about to start studying for a job related test to further my professional career. I've been focused on making what I hope is my 3rd greatest achievement behind my 2 daughters...my 42nd album PROTOTYPE V! OK, 42nd noncommercial album. This will be the first album put out by myself since I started this whole Internet ride. It was fun, the feedback was crazy. More feedback than ever. A lot can be credited to my guy Jcity over at theinfamousjcity.wordpress.com. Rallying the troops I got my guys D Damage, Datman & my brother Frank Grimes to lay some verses and I got a fresh crop of beats that any real hip hop fan can appreciate. I will have a album download link plus my YouTube channel will have all 16 joints up. At this point 8-8-11 is the official date I start flooding the Internet again so if you liked what you heard, there will be more and more and more. Prototype V is on its way god-dammit.

TALK IMPACT RADIO "WE SEE YOU"

http://talkimpactradio.com/?p=86

Check out my little interview regarding my almost popular song "We See You" the John Cena Diss. These guys happened to hear it and wanted to feature it to help get people listening. Not only that but they plugged my youtube and are putting together some things for me. It's incredible to have that kind of support. I'll have a website up and a iTunes presence soon. The interview is just about the song and wrestling in general but playing the song for their audience is overwhelming. Let's see what happens
